Saturated Color

This painting was created by saturating the paper with paint in loose abstract washes and then applying more careful and deliberate strokes of color. The drawing was first laid in using charcoal and pencil. This painting depicts a nude man lying on a bed involved with a book.

Secret Favorite

Well yesterday's secret favorite must have been someone else's favorite too.
It sold in the middle of the night to a collector in the UK.
Damn collectors always buying my favorite artworks!

Gorgeous Reclining Nude Female Art

Here are three new nudes. (all have sold) The same model is depicted on all three paintings. She is posing in my bedroom. The colors of my bedroom most closely matches the painting above with the green bedspreads. It was a lot of fun to play with other styles and patterns changing the tapestry from green to red to gold. The detail of the pillows add to the sensuality and modernity of the pieces. Which one is your favorite?
